I’m proud to be your County Attorney

Since my election in 2006, I’ve been doing what I said I would do when I first ran for office: make real improvements in the lives of the people of St. Louis County.

I’ve been working hard to prosecute cases promptly, in order to keep the public safe and hold criminals accountable. And I’ve been leading efforts to keep children in school, with programs for tutoring chronically truant students and programs for keeping kids in the classroom and away from drugs and crime.

I’ve made it a priority in my office to make sure all people are treated equally in our justice system and to reduce the disproportionate number of children of color in detention.

Along with my hard-working staff and other justice professionals, we have saved taxpayers money and improved neighborhood safety by setting up problem-solving courts that help offenders remain law-abiding.

I’m running for reelection because I want to continue working on these and the many other issues critical to the people of our county. Thank you for your support.
